Question: why can't they land in the same opposite way? Obviously the plan can have a big % slope climbing rate but the opposite is not possible? More dangerous? Or maybe it is the camera who deform the reality. Anyone having the charts for arrival and departure could confirm or infirm? Thanks.

Kind of like taking off at John Wayne Airport in Orange County California except for the fact at John Wayne they cut the power to 1/3 after leaving the ground pretty sketchy takeoff
